Tonight's post is from Zoe Pruitt.
Today was so inspiring. The first thing we did was go to the church and get our assignment for the day. We were to go door to door and hand out flyers so people would know that the church was there. It was so amazing how many people that lived in that neighborhood (where the church was located) didn’t even know that a church existed anywhere near them. The people are so much more willing to listen to you up here. When we went up to people they would read it or ask about it. That was absolutely amazing to me.
When I was going up and down the street handing out the flyers some of the people were very nice and looked like they greatly appreciated us. It not only gave me the feeling of accomplishment but made me think “maybe this is not a total waste of time.” In Jacksonville people are not as nice as the people up here. That’s just my opinion, but it seems true to me. This so far has to be the most needed heads up for me. I feel like I’m doing the right thing. :^)
